Daytime and clear blue skies with the moon high overhead.
If we poison the land,
the seas? We fell all the forests,
we topple the trees? There’s plenty
more galaxies, planets like these – with
water, with air, with warmth, with light:
homes like ours just right for life. Who cares
if we lose those buzzy old bees? Who cares
if there’s plastic clogging the seas? When
our blue world is finally done, we’ll leave
this rock and mother sun, we’ll zoom
on up – to way out where – there’s
many more earths.…
